Sawyer Fredericks family owns a 90 acre farm in upstate New York. Sawyer Fredericks is born to parents Carl F. Frederick and Kristen L. Fredericks along with his two siblings.

The American blues singer Sawyer rose to mainstream attention after winning the 8th season of The Voice in 2015. He set history as the youngest male to win the show at just 16. 

Fredericks has released four studio albums, one extended play, two music videos, and sixteen singles until March 23, 2023. The singer dropped his latest and 4th album Flowers For You on May 1, 2020.

Born in 1999, in Newtown, Connecticut, Sawyer, moved to an 88-acre farm with his family when he was eight years old. He took voice lessons at the age of 11 and shortly began performing at farmers’ markets.

Not to mention, the 23-year-old has bagged a Reality TV Awards for the category of the best performance ‘Old Man’ on The Voice in 2016.

Sawyer Fredericks parents Carl F. Fredericks and Kirsten L. Fredericks are farmers. They own a 90-acre farm named Windrake farm in Upstate New York.

They have a tight-knit family of five members including Carl, Kirsten, Sawyer, and his two brothers. Windrake farm has been home to the Fredericks family for over a decade since 2007 to be precise.

Father Carl F. Fredericks

‘The Voice’ winner Sawyer’s father Carl. F. Fredericks is a farmer. He maintains a low-key social life away from the spotlight, unlike the singer.

He is usually occupied with his work on the 90-acre farm named Windrake farm. Their farm provides organically raised, GMO-free, pastured pork, and grass-fed beef, promoting sustainable development.

Their farm is located in the fertile  Mohawk Valley of New York State. Initially, Carl didn’t have any idea about farming; however, over time, with baby steps, he was able to ace the profession.

Carl and Kirsten, both studied farming-related books, attended various courses, and knowledge from their neighboring farmers. Slowly the farm started to look and feel like a home, providing an environment for their children to learn new things.

They started the farm with a vegetable garden, five chickens, a guard donkey, a beef steer, and a Jersey cow. Now the farm is home to a beef herd of almost 45, a handful of chickens and ducks, and more.

Fredericks’s father and mother went on a bike ride on his new Harley in December 2018. Presently, Carl isn’t approachable on social media platforms. That said, most likely he should be busy on the farm to barely have time to maintain a social life.

Mother Kirsten L. Fredericks

Sawyer’s mother Kristen Lauren Fredericks is highly supportive of his career. She is a person full of life who loves art, music, and farming life.

Unlike Carl, Kirsten is available on social platforms including the mainstream stage Instagram. She has 616 followers with 316 posts, and thirteen highlights on her account.

Her Instagram feed has a little bit of everything you’d like to learn about. Kirsten has shared photos of her parents, Sawyer, and his siblings, a snippet view of farming life to what not.

She penned a lengthy caption penning down her experience and take on her nursing and co-sleeping with her children via an Instagram post that dates back to January 10, 2019.

Kirsten unveiled that she co-slept and nursed Sawyer until he turned two. Regardless of many asking her to drop the habit, she couldn’t care less to nurse her child as much as she wants to.

The mother of three has a sister named Saskia Larse. She is a professional actress and a member of the SAG-AFTRA. Likewise, she is also a psychologist and bird nerd.

Not to forget, Kirsten is also a sound artist. Occasionally she shares her drawing on her social platform. Correspondingly, she is also an expert in knitting caps, leg warmers, and more.

Skyler Fredericks siblings Skyler Fredericks and Aric Fredericks are elder than him. All three of the boys maintain a sound relationship.

As a child, Syler was a colic baby who would cry and be fussy for several hours, Kirsten unveiled via an Instagram post. He co-slept for just 5 months with his mother.

Aric Fredericks

Carl and Kirsten’s secondborn, Aric Fredericks, celebrates his birthday on May 22. He isn’t active on social platforms in the meantime.

Aric co-slept and was nursed for a long time compared to Syler; 18 months to be precise. Kirsten stopped nursing him for tandem nursing made her overwhelmed at times.

Sawyer Fredericks partner Abigail has been in a relationship with him for five years. The couple prefers to maintain a covert togetherness away from media scrutiny.

‘The Voice’ singer unveiled that he is a proud flag-waving member. Just a few days following the exclusive disclosure, Fredericks unearthed his relationship status via his Instagram on February 23, 2023.

‘So I feel like I’m running out of things to talk about lol 😂 But let’s talk about relationships,’ Sawyer started the caption of his relationship disclosure. He added, ‘Happy to say I’ve been with my partner for 5 years now.’

Abigail is available on Instagram; however, her account remains private at the moment. She is adored and welcomed with an open heart by Fredericks’s parents.

Fredericks’ mother Kirsten shares photos with her occasionally on her social platform. They even spent quality time together. The singer’s mother and Abigail had a lovely time together at Saratoga Springs in New York on July 27, 2018.

The 23-year-old hasn’t shared about his love life and Abigail in public apart from the exclusive disclosure and acknowledgment of being with and seeing someone in the meantime.
