She appeared in a 2009 episode of CSI: Miami entitled "Head Case". In 2010, Vergara appeared in the soap opera Chico de mi Barrio as Sofia and appeared in 40 episodes of the show. She appeared in the film Fright Night as Ginger. In March 2011, Vergara was cast in the pilot of NBC's Mann's World. In 2013, Vergara had a short lasting role on The Bold and the Beautiful where she appeared as Theresa Corazon for four episodes. Later in the year she guest-starred in an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. She had begun being the co-host of a talk show revolving around plastic surgery titled Good Work, alongside drag queen RuPaul and Botched's Terry Dubrow, in 2015.
Vergara was born in 1988. Her mother was the sister of Sofia Vergara's mother, Margarita. When she was a month old, she was adopted by her aunt, due to her mother's failing health. Sandra started her modelling at age 24.
