Ondrej Palát is a Czech professional ice hockey winger who is out for the next 6-8 weeks with a lower-body injury
Ondrej Palat is a well-known hockey player who was born in the Czech Republic on March 28, 1991.
He began his professional career in North America with the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s Drummondville Voltigeurs (QMJHL).

With 2:03 left in the second period of Tampa Bay’s top-of-the-Atlantic Division match versus Montreal, Ondrej Palat was injured after blocking a shot.
Palat was injured in the third period of Saturday’s 5-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild.
Palat has 30 points (eight goals, 22 assists) and a plus-17 rating in 46 games. In six NHL seasons, he has 248 points (82 goals, 166 assists), all with the Lightning.
With a lower-body injury, Palat did not return to the Lightning bench for the start of the second period and is out for the duration of the game.
After the game, Lightning coach Jon Cooper stated, They must have taken a photograph, implying an x-ray. I think everything went well, but you know how it goes with skateboards: once you take them off, there’s no going back. We’ll evaluate tomorrow, but the picture seemed decent, so everything should be alright.
His condition, however, has not been updated.
