William Joe Varga, introduced as Earl Billy Varga, is an American professional wrestler and actor. He gave birth to Rose and Joe Varga; his father was a professional wrestler in Europe known as Count Joseph Varga and taught wrestling to his son when he was 5 years old. He attended Hollywood High School and graduated from the University of Southern California. Varga won the World Lightweight Championship in 1941, then joined the Navy until he returned home in 1947. Varga's wrestling career began to crumble in the 1970s when he was busy with television work and film.
